ETHZilla acquires two aircraft engines to launch leasing business
Show original
ETHZilla, through its subsidiary ETHZilla Aerospace LLC, has purchased two CFM56-7B24 aircraft engines for $12.2 million and has leased them to a major airline, with daily management handled by Aero Engine Solutions. The transaction includes a buy-sell option agreement, allowing both parties to buy or sell each engine for $3 million at the end of the lease term if the engines remain in good condition. Previously, ETHZilla sold over $100 million worth of ETH holdings to cope with market pressure, and its stock price has fallen by about 97% since its peak in August last year. In addition, ETHZilla plans to launch its first batch of tokenized asset products in the first quarter of this year.
