Polaris Inc. Reports Fourth Quarter Financial Results
Polaris Inc., headquartered in Medina, Minnesota, announced a net loss of $303.6 million for its fourth quarter.
The company recorded a loss of $5.34 per share during this period. After adjusting for one-time expenses and asset write-downs, earnings stood at 8 cents per share.
These adjusted earnings surpassed the expectations of Wall Street analysts, who had projected 6 cents per share according to a Zacks Investment Research survey of five analysts.
Polaris, known for manufacturing snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles, reported revenue of $1.92 billion for the quarter, which was higher than the $1.84 billion forecasted by four analysts polled by Zacks.
For the entire year, Polaris reported a total loss of $465.5 million, or $8.18 per share, with annual revenue reaching $7.15 billion.
Looking ahead, the company anticipates its full-year earnings to fall between $1.50 and $1.60 per share.
