ChainCatcher reported, citing CoinDesk, that U.S. officials are reviewing the sources of funding for the Maduro regime, including whether related assets involve physical commodities or digital assets.

Patrick Witt, Executive Director of the White House Digital Asset Advisory Council, stated that several members within the national security system are currently participating in and investigating this issue.
