Bitcoin Spot ETF Investors Face Stress Test as Market Wavers Around Their Entry Price
BlockBeats News, January 28th, the current average entry price for US Bitcoin spot ETF investors is around $86,000. As the market fluctuates around their entry price, ETF investors are facing a "belief" test, whether to take on the risk and continue to hold, or to take profits to avoid the possibility of turning gains into losses. CryptoQuant analyst Moreno stated, "Historically, the entry price range serves as a psychological fulcrum, with prices above it boosting investor confidence and stabilizing fund flows, while prices persistently below this range will accelerate redemptions as investors will lose profit cushion."
Since October last year, the holdings of the US Bitcoin spot ETF have decreased by 8.4%, with cumulative inflows dropping from around $72.6 billion to about $66.5 billion. The ETF performance in the latter half of January was also lackluster, with net outflows on 6 out of 7 trading days, and only a meager $6.8 million net inflow on January 26th.
