Liberty Oilfield Services Inc., headquartered in Denver, announced a net income of $13.7 million for the fourth quarter.
The company recorded earnings of $0.08 per share, with adjusted earnings—excluding certain one-time items—coming in at $0.05 per share.
These figures surpassed analysts’ expectations. According to a survey by Zacks Investment Research involving eight analysts, a loss of $0.16 per share had been anticipated.
Liberty, which specializes in hydraulic fracturing services, generated $1.04 billion in revenue during the quarter, outperforming the $860.1 million forecasted by six analysts polled by Zacks.
For the full year, Liberty Oilfield Services reported a total profit of $147.9 million, or $0.89 per share, with annual revenue reaching $4.01 billion.
