Glonghui, January 30th|The investment bank TD Cowen, a subsidiary of TD Securities, pointed out that as market perceptions of Oracle's large-scale expansion plans change, Oracle may lay off as many as 30,000 employees and sell its healthcare technology division Cerner to ease its challenges in financing AI data centers. Previously, Oracle signed an agreement with OpenAI to build data centers worth $300 billions. In September last year, Oracle issued $18 billions in bonds, but it is estimated that Oracle needs to borrow $25 billions annually to fund its expansion.
