U.S. stock market opens: Dow Jones down 0.1%, Nasdaq up 0.32%

According to data from a certain exchange, at the opening of the US stock market, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 0.1%, the S&P 500 Index rose by 0.13%, and the Nasdaq Composite Index rose by 0.32%. Mining stocks performed strongly, with Coeur Mining (CDE.N) up 8.2% and Pan American Silver (PAAS.O) up 6.2%. However, Paypal (PYPL.O) plunged 18% as the company warned that earnings might decline this year and announced a change of CEO.
