According to a report by Bijie Network: Microsoft has signed a $750 million cloud services agreement with artificial intelligence startup Perplexity, allowing it to deploy models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and xAI through Microsoft's Foundry service in an effort to boost its Azure business. Despite this partnership, Microsoft's stock price still fell nearly 3% to around $411, continuing a 24% decline over the past six months. The main reason is recent earnings reports falling short of expectations, with Azure's 39% growth rate and $12.6 billion in PC revenue both below forecasts. Analysts generally remain optimistic about Microsoft, with 41 out of 49 analysts giving a "strong buy" rating.
