Yum Brands Reports Fourth-Quarter Financial Results
Yum Brands Inc., headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, announced a net profit of $535 million for the fourth quarter.
The company reported earnings of $1.91 per share, with adjusted earnings—excluding one-time gains—at $1.73 per share.
These adjusted earnings fell short of analysts’ expectations, as a consensus of eight analysts polled by Zacks Investment Research had anticipated $1.78 per share.
Despite the earnings miss, Yum Brands, which owns KFC, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut, generated $2.51 billion in revenue during the quarter, surpassing the $2.47 billion forecasted by analysts.
