Canadian online retail shipping service purchases Warehowz
ShipTime Canada Expands Capabilities with Warehowz Acquisition
ShipTime Canada, a provider of e-commerce shipping technology, has announced the acquisition of Warehowz, a North American marketplace specializing in on-demand warehousing and fulfillment. This move is designed to strengthen ShipTime’s ability to address the evolving logistics requirements of merchants.
This acquisition highlights a growing trend among smaller parcel logistics companies, who are investing in expanded fulfillment and delivery networks to enhance their service offerings.
Warehowz operates a network of over 2,500 partner warehouses throughout the United States and Canada, delivering adaptable storage and fulfillment solutions for businesses seeking efficient inventory management.
By integrating Warehowz’s extensive warehousing resources, ShipTime customers gain new advantages, such as positioning inventory closer to end consumers for faster last-mile delivery, scaling storage during peak demand, and increasing flexibility for brands with multiple sites or high-volume needs.
“These new capabilities enhance ShipTime’s expanding North American courier network, which already includes major carriers like FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL, Uber, LSO, and others. Today’s logistics landscape demands more than just a variety of shipping options—businesses require unified solutions that seamlessly connect fulfillment, warehousing, and delivery. Bringing Warehowz into the ShipTime family is a significant step toward this integrated future. Their presence across North America and flexible warehouse model will help us grow further in the U.S. and deliver comprehensive solutions for brands that prioritize speed, efficiency, and scalability at every growth stage,” said Austin Lewis, CEO of ShipTime Canada, in a press statement.
ShipTime has recently opened its platform to U.S. sellers, enabling them to manage and select from a range of parcel carriers. The addition of Warehowz is expected to further support the company’s growth and enhance its service portfolio.
ShipTime Canada operates as a subsidiary of Paid Inc. (OTC: PAYD), a publicly traded company that develops online storefronts and payment solutions for e-commerce retailers.
