Glonghui, February 10th｜Barclays announced on Tuesday that it has increased CEO C.S. Venkatakrishnan’s 2025 compensation package to £15 million (equivalent to $20.5 million), up from £11.6 million the previous year. Barclays reduced Venkatakrishnan’s base salary but raised his variable compensation from £8.5 million in 2024 to £12.7 million. According to Barclays’ 2025 financial report, the bank’s total employee bonus pool grew by 15% to £2.2 billion.
