Fed rate cuts may depend on easing inflation in the second half of the year
According to Golden Ten Data, Principal Asset Management's Chief Global Strategist Seema Shah stated that the current situation is still insufficient to justify a near-term rate cut. The continued strength of the labor market provides policymakers with reasons to keep interest rates unchanged, while further easing of inflation in the second half of the year could reopen the door to accommodative policies.
