BlockBeats News, February 15, Tom Lee stated in an interview with Rug Radio founder Farokh Sarmad that the current crypto market is experiencing a "mini winter." It will not be a prolonged bear market, but it will take time to digest. He advises investors not to wait for a perfect bottom and to start buying in batches at low points now. The pain may last for several months to half a year, but a significant turnaround will be seen in 2026.

In addition, Tom Lee said he does not regret buying ETH too early, and mentioned that ETH is currently near the bottom (it may briefly fall below $1,800 or $1,890), but there have been eight V-shaped rebounds in history. In the long term, ETH is "the story of the next 15 years"—the foundation for stablecoins, AI, and the creator economy.

Finally, Tom Lee once again predicted that Bitcoin will rise to $200,000–$250,000 in 2026, and Ethereum, according to historical ratios, will reach $12,000–$22,000.

With the Bank of England's interest rate decision approaching on September 17, Governor Bailey stated at the Jackson Hole Symposium that the labor market remains persistently weak and that second-round inflation effects are moderate, saying, "We can continue to observe this situation." At the symposium, MPC member Mann, who supported a rate hike in July, warned that the spillover effects from the US and the rising dominance of the US dollar pose potential shocks to the transmission of the UK's monetary policy. The market has already priced in a 25 basis point rate hike by the UK this year, with bets on another hike next spring.
