Netflix Co-CEO: Acquiring Warner Bros. would bring more movies to theaters

After acquiring Warner Bros. Discovery, the number of films released in theaters will be increased in response to Hollywood's long-standing criticism of Netflix for "neglecting cinemas." If the deal is completed, Netflix will leverage Warner's established distribution network to provide more high-quality films to theaters. Netflix has promised to retain Warner films' 45-day theatrical exclusivity period. However, it is not inclined to formalize such commitments in written contracts. (Bloomberg TV)
