Gold Price Outlook: XAU/USD Weekly Trading Ranges
Gold Price Update: Recovery Continues After Sharp Decline
In the previous Gold Technical Forecast, we highlighted that the unprecedented surge in gold prices had reached its peak, followed by a dramatic reversal that paused the immediate upward momentum. We indicated that, for the 2025 bullish trend to stay intact, losses should not extend beyond 4604, and a weekly close above 5000 would be necessary to reignite the rally toward new highs.
Following this analysis, XAU/USD experienced a steep decline of over 21.3% from its all-time high. Although intraday trading saw prices dip to 4402, sellers were unable to push the weekly close below the 4600 threshold. Currently, gold is on track to achieve its fourth straight week of gains, signaling renewed strength in the market.
