The US announces a new round of sanctions related to Iran

The targets of this round of sanctions include four Iranian individuals, all of whom are related to Iranian aviation industry enterprises; multiple shipping and trading companies located in Iran, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Panama, the Marshall Islands, Liberia, and other regions have been added to the list, involving Iran's oil and liquefied gas transportation network; at least 13 oil tankers and liquefied gas carriers have been included in the scope of sanctions, with the relevant vessels flying the flags of Panama, Palau, Barbados, Vanuatu, Comoros, Iran, and other countries. The U.S. Department of the Treasury stated that the aforementioned individuals and entities will face asset freezes and restrictions on transactions with the U.S. financial system. (CCTV)
