Maximizing Your Stock Market Potential with Zacks Premium

Whether you're just starting out or have years of experience in investing, making the most of the stock market and investing with assurance are universal ambitions. Zacks Premium offers a comprehensive suite of tools to help you achieve these objectives.

Subscribers benefit from daily updates on the Zacks Rank and Zacks Industry Rank, unrestricted access to the exclusive Zacks #1 Rank List, in-depth Equity Research reports, and advanced Premium stock screening features. These resources are designed to empower you to make more informed and confident investment decisions.

Additionally, Zacks Premium features the Zacks Style Scores to further refine your stock selection process.

Understanding Zacks Style Scores

Developed as a complement to the Zacks Rank, the Zacks Style Scores are unique metrics that evaluate stocks using three popular investment strategies. These scores help investors identify stocks with the greatest potential to outperform the market over the coming month.

Each stock receives a grade—A, B, C, D, or F—based on its value, growth, and momentum attributes. Higher grades indicate a stronger likelihood of outperformance, with A being the highest and F the lowest.

The Style Scores are divided into four main categories:

Value Score

Value investors seek out stocks trading below their intrinsic worth. The Value Score assesses companies using ratios such as P/E, PEG, Price/Sales, and Price/Cash Flow, among others, to spotlight stocks that are attractively priced or undervalued.

Growth Score

Growth-focused investors prioritize a company's financial health and future prospects. The Growth Score considers both projected and historical figures for earnings, sales, and cash flow to pinpoint stocks with strong, sustainable growth potential.

Momentum Score

Momentum investing is centered on capitalizing on trends in stock prices or earnings forecasts. The Momentum Score evaluates factors like short-term price changes and recent shifts in earnings estimates, helping investors identify optimal times to invest in high-momentum stocks.

VGM Score

If you prefer a blended approach, the VGM Score combines Value, Growth, and Momentum metrics into a single comprehensive rating. This score helps investors quickly find stocks that excel across all three investment styles.

Integrating Style Scores with the Zacks Rank

The Zacks Rank is a proprietary system that leverages changes in earnings estimates to guide investors toward building successful portfolios.

Historically, stocks rated #1 (Strong Buy) by Zacks have delivered an impressive average annual return of +23.86% since 1988—more than twice the performance of the S&P 500 during the same period. However, with hundreds of stocks earning top Zacks Ranks on any given day, narrowing down your choices can be daunting.

This is where the Style Scores become invaluable.

To maximize your chances of success, focus on stocks with a Zacks Rank of #1 or #2 and Style Scores of A or B. If you are considering a stock with a #3 (Hold) rating, ensure it also has high Style Scores to enhance its upside potential.

Since Style Scores are designed to work alongside the Zacks Rank, any significant shift in a company's earnings outlook should influence your investment decisions.

For example, a stock rated #4 (Sell) or #5 (Strong Sell), even with high Style Scores, is likely facing declining earnings expectations and may see its share price fall.

Therefore, the more stocks you hold with both a top Zacks Rank and high Style Scores, the better positioned you are for success.

Top Analyst’s “Best Pick to Double”

Out of thousands of stocks, five Zacks experts have each selected a favorite they believe could soar by 100% or more in the near future. From these, Director of Research Sheraz Mian has identified one stock with the highest potential for explosive growth.

This company targets younger generations, including millennials and Gen Z, and generated nearly $1 billion in revenue last quarter. A recent dip in its share price presents a timely opportunity for investors. While not every top pick achieves such results, this stock could outperform previous Zacks selections like Nano-X Imaging, which surged 129.6% in just over nine months.
