Societe Generale's euro stablecoin EURCV expands to the Stellar network
PANews, March 11 – According to Finance Feeds, Societe Generale-FORGE, the crypto subsidiary of Societe Generale, has deployed its euro-denominated stablecoin EUR CoinVertible (EURCV) on the Stellar network, completing the multi-chain expansion plan first announced in 2025. EURCV was initially launched on Ethereum in April 2023, and later expanded to Solana and XRP Ledger. Its current market capitalization is approximately $45.2 million. The stablecoin has participated in several tokenized financial asset experiments, including a tokenized bond swap and settlement pilot in January this year as part of SWIFT's testing.
