On March 15, Wintermute founder and CEO Evgeny Gaevoy stated that the Ethereum Foundation is the only participant with both resources and network effects capable of sustaining and realizing the dream of the cypherpunk movement. He believes that in the short term, the price of Ethereum will not reflect this, and in the long term, it depends on Ethereum's success. Gaevoy emphasized that goals are more important than price, and said he will continue to hold ETH for culture and Meme reasons, even though holding it long-term is a far-reaching bet.
