Trump is said to be working on assembling a coalition of nations to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and hopes to announce the news later this week. Currently, no country has publicly committed to joining Trump's alliance to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

Previous reports indicated that Kharg Island accounts for 90% of Iran's oil output.
