WTI Crude Oil Surges 3.2% in Short Squeeze, On-chain Mega Whale Short Positions All Liquidated into Loss

WTI crude oil has accumulated a 3.2% gain since 16:00. The CL (WTI crude oil) contract price on Hyperliquid also rose simultaneously, currently at $96.4.
The whales with on-chain positions worth millions of dollars are all heavily short in this round of rise, with no exception, all suffering unrealized losses.
Among them, the largest on-chain CL position belongs to the "US and UK Oil Bears" (0x985), holding a 20x leveraged CL short position, with unrealized losses expanded to $1.43 million. The position size is around $24 million, with an average price of $90.42.
