Iranian Parliament Speaker Responds to Trump's Ultimatum on Strait of Hormuz
On March 22, according to Xinhua News Agency, regarding U.S. President Trump's "ultimatum" demanding Iran open the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated on the 22nd that if Iran's infrastructure, such as power plants, becomes a target, all energy and oil facilities in the entire Middle East region will be considered legitimate targets, will be irreversibly destroyed, and oil prices will rise long-term. Trump posted on social media yesterday, demanding that Iran open the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours, otherwise he would launch strikes against and destroy Iran's "various power plants."
