SK Hynix plans to issue new shares and list ADRs in the US, aiming to raise between 100 trillion and 150 trillion KRW.
According to Odaily, citing a report from Korea Economic Daily, SK Hynix plans to issue new shares and list American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) in the United States, with the issuance accounting for approximately 2.4% of its total share capital. The funds raised will mainly be used to expand high bandwidth memory (HBM) production capacity and advance the construction of the Yongin semiconductor cluster, aiming to strengthen its leading position in the global AI semiconductor market. SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won had previously announced at the NVIDIA GTC 2026 Developer Conference that the ADR listing plan is underway.
