Resolv Update on Security Incident: No Internal Staff Implicated, Whitelist User Redemptions 98% Complete
BlockBeats News, March 31st, Resolv co-founder Ivan released the latest update on the protocol security incident and recovery process, covering the following issues:
Why prioritize whitelisted USR users for redemption: Verified wallets allow the team to manually operate within 24 hours, limiting further impact on the broader market. Currently, 98% of these redemptions have been completed.
How non-whitelisted pre-incident USR holders will be addressed: Also committed to a 1:1 redemption. The team is finalizing the technical solution for redemption.
Whether it was an insider manipulation incident: Investigation is still ongoing. No evidence of insider involvement has been found so far.
How post-incident USR holders, LPs, and RLP holders will be handled: Next steps involve legal, technical, and ecosystem coordination with numerous partners. There is currently no single definitive solution—only a series of trade-offs. Resolv's goal is to find the most balanced outcome.
Full recovery plan: Progressing the process as quickly as responsibly possible.
