Genius Group has sold its remaining BTC and will consider restarting its bitcoin reserve strategy at an appropriate time in the future.
According to ChainCatcher, as reported by GlobeNewswire, the US-listed company Genius Group (GNS) has released its financial report for the first quarter of 2026 (ending March 31). The company has sold all of its Bitcoin reserves and fully repaid approximately $8.5 million in debt through debt restructuring, stating that it will resume building Bitcoin reserves once market conditions improve.
On the financial front, the company delivered a strong performance in the first quarter: revenue reached $3.3 million, up 171% year-on-year (vs. $1.2 million); gross profit was $2 million, up 228% year-on-year (vs. $600 thousand); and net profit was $2.7 million. The company stated that performance growth mainly came from the full expansion of its three main business lines (Genius School, Academy, Resorts).
