Paramount Skydance's acquisition of Warner Bros Discovery reduces financing size to approximately $49 billion

Glonghui April 9｜Bank of America and Citigroup have syndicated the bridge loans supporting Paramount's Skydance acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery to more banks, reducing the total debt involved to about $49 billion. The original financing was $54 billion, and an additional $3.5 billion one-year credit facility has been canceled. According to documents, a total of 18 banks are participating, including Deutsche Bank and Wells Fargo. The related financing is being provided by Apollo Global Management and others, and will comprise multiple term loans and revolving credit facilities. The company plans to refinance with investment-grade and high-yield bonds in the future.
