BlockBeats news, April 10, according to The Block, TD Cowen has lowered Strategy’s (MSTR) target price by 20.5% from $440 to $350, while maintaining a buy rating. Analysts Lance Vitanza and Jonathan Navarrete attributed this adjustment to a “lowered Bitcoin price outlook” and a reduction in the valuation multiple for the company’s Bitcoin earnings. The two analysts have revised down Strategy’s “BTC earnings” forecast for FY2026 to $7.87 billion, below the $10.17 billion forecast for 2025, but still believe the company’s core investment thesis lies in transforming market demand for volatility into Bitcoin via “effective leverage.”

TD Cowen’s base case for Strategy assumes Bitcoin reaches $140,000 by December 2026, with the company adding approximately $500 million in Bitcoin to its holdings each quarter; the bull case sees Bitcoin rising to $175,000 with acquisitions exceeding $500 million per quarter; while in the bear case, Bitcoin falls to $25,000 and, due to market conditions or limited financing channels, the company will pause additional purchases.

Additionally, TD Cowen covers four digital asset treasury companies, all given buy ratings: Sharplink, Strive, Nakamoto Holdings, and The Smarter Web Company. The respective target prices are $16 for Sharplink, $26 for Strive, $1 for Nakamoto Holdings, and £1 (approximately $1.34) for The Smarter Web Company.
