The main BTC short sellers are closing positions at breakeven and placing orders at $79,000, planning to go short again after the price rises.
BlockBeats news, on April 24, according to Hyperinsight monitoring, in the past half hour, a BTC primary short trader (0x004) who has been active multiple times recently in the Hyperliquid market closed a short position almost at breakeven, with the closing average price at 77,936 USD. Previously, the position size reached 15.58 million USD, generating a small profit of 60,000 USD.
Subsequently, this address placed a limit sell order above the current BTC price at 79,000 USD, with a size of 100 BTC, approximately 7.9 million USD, planning to reopen the short position upon price reaching that level.
