According to SlowMist Chief Information Security Officer 23pds on X, MioLab is a macOS malware-as-a-service platform active on Russian-speaking underground forums, designed to offer C2 control, API integration, and customizable attack capabilities for cybercriminal groups. Its primary target is to steal crypto assets, providing exclusive attack modules specifically for hardware wallets such as Ledger and Trezor. Through a lightweight payload and a fully functional web backend, attackers can efficiently steal sensitive browser data and crypto wallet assets, using highly customized social engineering lures to bypass macOS security protections and achieve long-term covert control.
