LianLian Digital acquires FINTRAC, obtains Canadian MSB license, can now provide virtual currency and payment services
ChainCatcher reports that Lianlian Digital has announced it has successfully obtained a Money Services Business (MSB) license from the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC) through the acquisition of an entity. This license allows it to conduct regulated activities such as foreign exchange, remittance, virtual currency, and payment services. The specific acquisition amount has not been disclosed.
