The company has canceled the entry-level configuration equipped with the M4 processor and 256GB of storage; the computer now starts with the same chip but with an upgraded 512GB of storage. Apple CEO Tim Cook stated that the shortage is related to the supply capacity of system-on-a-chip (SoC), and that demand for Mac mini and Mac Studio used for running artificial intelligence is higher than expected.
