The Central Bank of Zimbabwe issued a statement saying that, driven by the strengthening of international gold prices, the country’s total gold export revenue from January to May this year reached USD 3.1 billion, compared to just USD 1.2 billion in the same period last year, more than doubling the revenue scale.
