Joby Aviation and Toyota Motor establish joint venture to manufacture air taxis

Glonghui, June 30 | Air taxi manufacturer Joby Aviation and Toyota Motor have announced the establishment of a joint venture, Joby Toyota Aero Manufacturing Preparation Company. Joby will hold a 49% stake in JTAMPC, while Toyota will hold the remaining shares. According to the terms of the agreement, Joby will grant the joint venture exclusive rights to manufacture the S4 series aircraft. Joby Aviation is seeking government approval to deploy its commercial electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft.
