Audiera gains 13% as whales return – Can BEAT extend rally?

Audiera [BEAT] extended its rally on the 22nd of July, gaining 13% during the early trading hours. Its Market Capitalization also crossed $810 million.

The rally could extend as futures traders maintained bullish positioning. BEAT’s 890% gain over 180 days also placed the latest move within a broader uptrend.

Are whales backing BEAT’s rally?

The rally coincided with increased whale activity before the price surge.

The Whale-to-Retail Delta rose to 0.0123, its highest reading since the 25th of June. A positive reading suggested that whale positioning was stronger than retail positioning.

However, the metric did not prove that whales caused BEAT’s rally. It also could not determine how long those traders intended to hold their positions.

BEAT gained roughly 48% over 30 days as whale positioning remained elevated. This alignment supported bullish sentiment but did not establish direct causation.

Is spot selling threatening BEAT?

Selling pressure remained visible in the Spot market as some traders appeared to realise profits.

CoinGlass recorded $2.55 million in sell volume and approximately $233,000 in net selling over three days. Over 24 hours, the market registered $1.7 million in sell volume and nearly $170,000 in net selling.

Seven-day Spot Netflow showed approximately $42,000 in net selling. However, comparing absolute Netflow values across different periods could give a misleading picture.

The 12-hour window recorded around $90,000 in net selling. These figures confirmed continued selling but could not identify whether traders took profits or cut losses.

Therefore, BEAT still needs sustained Spot demand to support its futures-led bullish positioning.

Perpetual market activity supports bulls

Perpetual market activity has leaned positive and continues to back the bulls. At the time of writing, the open-interest-weighted funding rate—which measures the capital in the perpetual market and gauges whether positioning skews long or short—reflected that tilt.

The rate hit 0.0051% over the past 24 hours, meaning slightly more long contract positions than short ones controlled the $68.70 million in perpetual capital.

This moderate bullishness suggests positioning carries no excessive exposure, keeping the risk of capitulation slim and leaving the more probable case as price continuing along the path it already follows, which in this instance is a rally.

Final Summary

  • BEAT gained 13% as whale activity and bullish futures positioning supported sentiment.
  • Spot selling remained the main risk, while Funding Rates showed limited overheating.

JPMorgan believes that the Q2 earnings reports of global semiconductor companies have sent a clear bullish signal: First, demand has exceeded expectations, and foundry giants such as TSMC are universally raising capital expenditures to accelerate capacity expansion; second, the effect of price increases is materially "spreading" to equipment and materials, with equipment suppliers leveraging price hikes to boost gross margins; third, memory giants are securing an extremely high profit baseline for the next several years in advance through long-term agreements and massive prepayments.
