Lucid Group's gains expand to 11% as the Saudi prince holds shares in the company.

The Dow Jones opened down 0.14%, the Nasdaq fell 0.05%, and the S&P 500 dropped 0.14%. Leading tech stocks: Amazon declined 0.67%, Nvidia fell 0.59%, and Super Micro Computer dropped 0.43%. The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index rose 0.94%, Li Auto increased 5.15%, and NIO rose 3.21%.

U.S. stocks opened lower, with the Dow Jones down 0.8%, the S&P 500 down 0.18%, and the Nasdaq down 0.12%. GlobalFoundries (GFS.US) rose 0.57% as the company will receive up to $300 million in funding from the U.S. government. SK Hynix (SKHY.US) fell about 1%, while SanDisk (SNDK.US) rose about 2%.
