Iran's IRGC confirms striking US base in Jordan
In European trade on Wednesday, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announces that it fired several ballistic missiles at a United States (US) air base and the military Central Command (CENTCOM) center in Jordan.
Earlier, a spokesperson from Jordan said that the nation intercepted five missiles launched from Iran, State agency reported.
Market reaction
No immediate reaction seen in the US Dollar (USD) despite fears of widening military aggression in the Middle East escalating. At press time, the US Dollar Index (DXY) trades 0.1% lower at around 101.27.
