Microsoft confirms launch of Copilot "super app" within the year, integrating chat, coding, and AI agent capabilities
BlockBeats News, July 30, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella confirmed during the earnings call that the company will launch the Copilot "Super App" this year. This app will integrate Copilot chat, GitHub Copilot coding assistant, and Agentic AI capabilities, covering both consumer and enterprise user scenarios.
Nadella stated that Copilot is gradually evolving from a chat assistant into a cowork platform and autonomous agents. "This quarter, we will integrate Copilot experiences—including coding capabilities—into a single Super App, which is a significant milestone. More details will be shared in the future."
Previous reports indicated that Microsoft is developing an AI Super App that merges Copilot chatbot, GitHub Copilot, Copilot Cowork, and Autopilot systems. At the same time, OpenAI has recently launched the ChatGPT Work app, which integrates ChatGPT with the AI coding tool Codex, further intensifying competition among AI assistant platforms.
