According to on-chain analyst Emmett Gallic, a Bitcoin address associated with Bitminter founder Geir Harald Hansen transferred 829 BTC, with some BTC having been dormant for 8 years. Bitminter was one of the early mining pools and, at its peak, accounted for nearly 10% of the Bitcoin network's hashrate, mining a total of 208,232 BTC.
