Aave founder Stani Kulechov stated on the X platform that Aave will phase out 50 low-utilization asset reserves and shut down deployments on Sonic, Scroll, zkSync, Metis, Soneium, and Aptos, while also phasing out 21 expired Pendle PT tokens. These changes involve $98.1 million in supply and $15.6 million in debt, aiming to reduce Aave's economic and technical risks.
