Wanchain suffers hacker attack, NIGHT tokens stolen; attacker demands return of 90% and promises white hat immunity
According to ChainCatcher, Wanchain's official X account reported that on July 20, 2026, the Wanchain Bridge Cardano cross-chain bridge was attacked, and hackers stole NIGHT tokens. Wanchain immediately issued an announcement to the attacker, requesting the return of 90% of the stolen NIGHT tokens by 12:00 UTC on August 6, allowing the attacker to keep 10% as a white hat bounty and promising not to pursue civil liability.
