Pi Network Price Prediction: Can Protocol 26 and RoboPay Push PI Above $0.10?

PI trades at $0.086 on August 5, up 3.2%, printing a green candle after retesting the upper trendline of a descending wedge it broke out of earlier this week. The retest held, and today’s bounce is the first confirmation that the breakout was not a false move.

The daily chart shows PI completing the full breakout sequence from a descending wedge that compressed price since late June. Price broke above the upper trendline, pulled back to retest it from above, found support, and is now bouncing with today’s 3.22% green candle providing the initial confirmation. That three-step process, breakout, retest, bounce, is the textbook setup traders look for to validate a wedge breakout rather than flag it as a fake-out.

The 20-day EMA at $0.087 sits just above current price and is the immediate level to clear on a daily close. The Parabolic SAR at $0.095 is the next obstacle above, followed by the 50-day EMA at $0.10, which is the first meaningful recovery target. The broken wedge trendline near $0.083 to $0.084 is now support and the level that must hold on any further pullback to keep the breakout structure intact.

Type Price Level
Resistance $0.087 20-day EMA, immediate ceiling
Resistance $0.095 Parabolic SAR
Resistance $0.10 50-day EMA, first major recovery target
Resistance $0.121 100-day EMA
Support $0.083 to $0.084 Broken wedge trendline, now support
Support $0.075 Prior wedge lower trendline
Support $0.07 June low, last major floor

Pi Network has joined RoboPay as a payment partner, with PI set to be used for robot services across the Fabric network. RoboPay is built to let AI agents discover, hire, and pay robots autonomously on-chain, and the Pi partnership extends that same payment rail to tens of millions of existing PI holders.

The practical use cases, once live, include requesting delivery robots for groceries, dispatching security robots to patrol properties, scheduling industrial inspection robots, and interacting with humanoid assistants in retail and hospitality. Fabric Foundation framed the deal as the foundation of an open machine economy where humans, AI agents, and robots all transact on the same network. For PI specifically, it represents a concrete utility anchor at a moment when the token needs real-world demand to support the breakout.

The Pi Core Team has started deploying Protocol 26 across the Pi Mainnet. Node operators have until August 11 to update their software or risk losing their Mainnet connection.

The rollout is being watched closely because Protocol 27, described as the final upgrade, is the next milestone after this one, and anticipation around it has been a key driver behind PI’s 11% gain over the past week.

The retest holds and PI closes above the 20-day EMA at $0.087, confirming the breakout is valid. RoboPay partnership news and Protocol 26 progress ahead of the August 11 deadline attract fresh buying from Pioneers, and the SAR at $0.095 flips bullish as price pushes toward the 50-day EMA at $0.10, the first major recovery target above the wedge.

The retest support at $0.083 to $0.084 fails to hold on a daily close, invalidating the breakout and pulling PI back inside the prior wedge. Broader market weakness compounds the selling pressure and price slides toward the prior wedge lower trendline at $0.075 and the June lows at $0.07 if that level breaks.
