- Jacobson previously served as U.S. ambassador to Mexico, assistant secretary of state for Western Hemisphere affairs, and a White House border coordinator.
- Former U.S. Ambassador to Venezuela James “Jimmy” Story also joined the advisory board; he is a founding partner of Global Frontier Advisors.
- Story previously served as chargé d’affaires to Angola and São Tomé and Príncipe, with senior roles across Latin America and the Caribbean.
- The appointments target stakeholder engagement and permitting for the Riqueza Marina and Zaachila copper-gold projects in Oaxaca, Mexico.
