A survey by The Royal Mint shows that
nearly one third (around 30%) of Britons surveyed regret missing profitable opportunities to invest in gold and silver .

The survey indicates that nearly three quarters (around 73%) of respondents said they worry that global conflicts and economic uncertainty may impact the value of their wealth. Most people are concerned about their overall financial outlook, and more than half (around 53%) of
respondents
are uncertain where to invest to keep their finances safe.

Over the past five years, the international prices of gold and silver have both risen by more than 100%,
respondents
show significant regret over missing out on the precious metals market. However, even so,
only a quarter (around 25%) of
respondents
said they might invest in gold or silver in the next five years.
Nearly two thirds (around 63%) of
respondents
said they will continue to rely on existing savings methods.

Stuart O'Reilly, Private Wealth Advisor at The Royal Mint, stated that
this study shows that many Britons are reflecting on the opportunities they might have missed, as gold and silver have delivered such considerable returns. Investors should learn about the roles different assets can play in a long-term diversified financial strategy.

O'Reilly believes that
in the long term, the outlook for precious metals investment remains attractive. Ongoing central bank demand for gold, geopolitical uncertainties, fiscal pressures, and the need for diversification continue to offer structural support to the market.

Apple has cut approximately 100 positions related to Vision Pro and around 100 positions in Siri and software engineering. On the Vision Pro front, the gaming team was nearly disbanded and the immersive video department was downsized, as the high production costs and limited user base made it unsustainable. Regarding Siri, the layoffs are due to a complete overhaul of the technical architecture, with the new Siri being rebuilt from the ground up, leading to a restructuring of personnel.
