Wells Fargo: Bullish outlook predicts gold price rising to $4,900
Wells Fargo strategy chief Samir Samana stated that the long-term bullish outlook for international gold prices remains attractive. However, it is important to note that the trajectory of the international gold price’s rise may be uneven, so the target ranges for international gold prices in 2026 and 2027 have been revised down to $4,900–5,100/ounce and $5,400–5,600/ounce respectively.
Historically, gold has tended to perform steadily during U.S. economic recessions. When both U.S. stocks and bonds perform poorly, gold may play a larger role.
