ETHTaipei 2026 introduces its first Institutional Day: International teams such as Polymarket and Uniswap come to Taiwan, connecting Ethereum developers with financial institutions.

The annual Ethereum developer conference ETHTaipei 2026 will be held on September 13-14 at Bottle Cap Factory (POPOP Taipei) in Nangang, Taipei. Entering its fourth edition this year, the event will, for the first time, span two days: September 13 as Cryptonative Day, targeting Ethereum developers and the tech community, and September 14 as Institution Day, specially designed for banks and financial institutions. Topics will range from core protocol research and on-chain finance to custody, real-world assets (RWA), and institutional-level applications.

"Cryptographic technology and the real world are converging, and what makes this possible is the research and engineering behind it. This is the essence of ETHTaipei 2026," said the ETHTaipei organizer team Martinet.

First Round of International Speakers Announced

The first group of ETHTaipei 2026 speakers includes teams from Polymarket (global prediction market), Uniswap (decentralized exchange protocol), Ethereum Foundation, ChainSafe (blockchain infrastructure), LINE NEXT, CertiK (blockchain security), OneSavie Labs, Quantstamp (smart contract auditing), Across Protocol (cross-chain protocol) and PIF12. Covering protocol research, DeFi, security, cross-chain and consumer applications, they will share cutting-edge technology and practical experience with attendees. More speakers will be announced soon.

From Core Protocols to Institutional Finance

Cryptonative Day will cover protocols and core development, Layer 2 scaling, zero-knowledge proofs and privacy, wallet and account abstraction, DeFi, consumer and social applications, security, and development tools. Institution Day will focus on institutional-grade wallets and custody, digital asset and smart contract security, stablecoin risk management, RWA and U.S. stock tokenization, AI Agent-driven Machine Finance, and blockchain selection for financial institutions. BSOS, DADRC, Sigmarket, Taishin Shin Kong Financial Holdings and Others Join Forces

ETHTaipei 2026 is supported by various enterprises and institutions.
