Accenture to Acquire Japan-Based Comware to Boost Mid-Market AI Services

03:36 AM EDT, 08/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Accenture (ACN) said Thursday it agreed to acquire Comware, a Tokyo-based provider of end-to-end technology services for mid-market companies. The company said the deal will strengthen Accenture Edge, a business launched in June to help mid-market companies adopt AI and modernize operations. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Comware, which specializes in IT implementation and operations, SAP and CRM technologies, will add more than 180 professionals to Accenture, the company added.
