BitGo Closes Acquisition of NYDIG's Institutional Trading Business

05:51 PM EDT, 08/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BitGo (BTGO) said late Thursday it completed the acquisition of the institutional trading business and related assets of NYDIG. The acquisition expands BitGo's institutional service offering with derivatives, structured products, financing and capital-markets capabilities, while allowing NYDIG to focus on its power generation, bitcoin mining, high-performance computing and data-center development business. About 30 NYDIG employees joined BitGo as part of the transaction, along with NYDIG's institutional client trading relationships. Financial terms weren't provided.
