🔥 Bitget US Stock Hotshot|2026.08.28 Theme: NVDA’s long-cycle guide rekindles AI infra|Memory capex · Software proof · Apple event countdown image 0

1. Nvidia rare FY2028 revenue growth guide of ~70%
Q2 revenue $96.2B, up 106% YoY; data center $89.0B, up 117% YoY. Q3 guide about $108B. CFO guided ~70% revenue growth for FY2028 (above prior Street ~40%–45%). Jensen Huang said underlying demand is higher, with the bottleneck in supply chain and memory. Vera Rubin is in volume production. Stock closed Thursday up ~8.7%.
🎯 Beneficiaries: NVDA, AVGO, INTC; Key catalyst: Long-cycle guide now in the tape; watch memory shortages constraining shipment pace.

2. Reports: Nvidia to buy Hugging Face for $12.9B
The Information and others reported Nvidia has agreed to acquire open-source model and dataset platform Hugging Face for about $12.9B (neither side has officially confirmed). If completed, Nvidia would extend from compute hardware into model distribution and the developer gateway, offsetting the closed-lab custom-chip narrative.
🎯 Beneficiaries: NVDA; Key catalyst: Deal confirmation and official comments. Still unclosed — volatility hinges on whether it is confirmed.

3. AI software and cybersecurity deliver
Salesforce raised full-year guidance and launched Claudeforce, a plugin integrating Anthropic’s Claude; shares jumped ~22.6% Thursday. CrowdStrike and Okta also beat, up ~20.5% and ~28.6%, as enterprises pair AI-agent and cloud spend with security.
🎯 Beneficiaries: CRM, CRWD, OKTA; Key catalyst: Application-layer order proof. Near-term bounce is largely priced; watch whether guidance gets revised higher.

4. Dual memory expansions: SK Hynix Indiana + Kioxia/Sandisk ¥5T Japan
SK Hynix broke ground on a >$4B HBM advanced-packaging site in Indiana; cleanroom targeted Oct 2028, HBM4E volume in 2H 2029. CEO said the memory shortage may last through end-2030. Kioxia and Sandisk announced >$31B of Japan investment through 2032, contingent on government support; new Kitakami fab ~¥1.8T, targeted FY2029. Nvidia’s call separately flagged memory tightness limiting shipments.
🎯 Beneficiaries: MU, SNDK, WDC; Key catalyst: HBM/NAND capacity vs. shortage narrative; watch spot prices and guidance.

5. Marvell data-center acceleration, but GM guide weighed on after-hours
Record Q2 revenue $2.739B, +37% YoY; data center +46% YoY, 79% of sales. Q3 guide $3.15B ±5%. Outlook: FY2027 ~$12B, FY2028 ~$18B; custom XPU business expected to more than double. After-hours weakness followed non-GAAP GM guide of about 57.5%–58.5%, below some hopes. Investor Day on Oct 6 will detail AI infra.
🎯 Beneficiaries: MRVL, AVGO; Key catalyst: Quality of the guide and Investor Day; near term digest the margin miss.

6. Apple locks Sept 9 event; foldable enters countdown
Official “Surprise and shine” invite: Sept 9 for iPhone 18 Pro / Pro Max, with the first foldable iPhone widely expected (rumored Ultra). First hardware showcase for incoming CEO John Ternus (takes over Sept 1). Standard iPhone 18 reportedly pushed to early 2027. Hinge, display, thermal, and memory supply chain enter a validation window.
🎯 Beneficiaries: AAPL, MU, QCOM; Key catalyst: Pre-9/9 pricing and supply-chain rumors; volatility should rise.

Trading note: Flows are shifting from “has AI peaked?” back to “who converts compute + memory + apps first.” Today’s focus is Warsh’s Jackson Hole speech at 10:00 ET and how futures price the rate path. NVDA/memory tape is intact; after the software spike, watch high-to-low rotation. MRVL needs premarket digestion of the GM guide.

Believing that "SpaceX is undervalued," Morgan Stanley predicts "revenue will reach $3.5 trillion by 2040." Musk responds, "No, I estimate it will reach that by 2033."

Elon Musk personally refuted Morgan Stanley: the bank predicted that SpaceX's revenue would reach $3.5 trillion by 2040, but Musk responded that this figure could be achieved as early as 2033, seven years ahead of schedule. Morgan Stanley set a target price of $300, stating that the current stock price almost entirely ignores the company's AI valuation. Meanwhile, the new mega base in Louisiana, with investments in the hundreds of billions, and Starship's costs being reduced nearly tenfold over ten years, may rewrite the entire commercial logic of the space economy.
