The trial's independent safety board recommended discontinuing treatment and ending the trial, saying further continuation was unlikely to change the efficacy outcome, according to the company. A separate phase 2 trial evaluating autogene cevumeran in combination with checkpoint inhibition and chemotherapy for adjuvant pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma is not affected and will continue as planned, the company said.
