EHang's Pilotless Aircraft Completes First Public Flight in Hong Kong

The aircraft performed vertical take-off and landing, low-altitude cruise, and hover maneuvers along preprogrammed routes, demonstrating autonomous flight capability, the company said Friday in a statement. EHang is working with Kwoon Chung Smart Mobility and Hong Kong Cyberport Management to advance commercialization efforts under the Hong Kong government's Regulatory Sandbox X program, which supports the development of new low-altitude aviation applications.
